NC State is one of the best college baseball teams this season and certainly has the tools to make a deep run to the College World Series. The Wolfpack have capable pitching, but boast a high-powered offense with three players with 14 or more home runs this season (Jacob Cozart, Garrett Pennington and Alec Makarewicz).

NC State coach Elliot Avent, in his 28th season at the helm, led the Wolfpack to two of their three College World Series appearances (2013, 2021) and will look to make it his third since taking over in 1997.
