How newspapers around the world dealt with Donald Trump’s verdict

Not surprisingly, media publications around the world have prominently featured the news that former President Donald Trump has been convicted of all 34 charges in his hush-money trial in New York on their front pages.

Both Time and the New Yorker offered sneak peeks of upcoming magazine covers that brutally mocked the former president’s convictions.

Meanwhile, the verdict was the top story on the front pages of newspapers both in America and abroad.

You can see how it got attention thanks to a social media thread posted on X, formerly Twitter, by Jason Kint of Digital Content Next, a media trade organization.

“As I have said in the past, there is nothing that makes a statement about major news near the front page of the newspaper,” Kint said as he introduced the long thread. “Across America, almost every editor assumed the simple fact: ‘Guilty.’”

Kint began showing how newspapers in the largest media markets reported on the verdict.

He then showed how the international press covered the story.
