Where Oklahoma’s roster stands heading into 2025

Oklahoma’s roster got some clarity on Monday.

Three earlier — Avery Hodge, Quince Lilio And SJ Geurin – reportedly entered the transfer portal.

That leaves OU with eight returners heading into 2025, when they are combined with the eight freshmen who signed in the class of 2024, leaving five open roster spots for Patty Gasso to complete the transfer portal.

Although 10 seniors have left, the Sooners won’t be completely devoid of experience heading into the SEC.

Cydney Sanders will return as the team’s lone senior, and she is entering her third year in the program after transferring from Arizona State following her freshman season.

Left-handed pitcher Kierston deal will be the most experienced arm of OU’s pitching staff, and a redshirt junior Hanna Coor will return to the outfield.

Right-handed flamethrowerr Paytn Monticelli is also scheduled to return after throwing 19 1/3 innings in a Sooner uniform last year.

Add the crucial experience Kasidi Pickering And Ella Parker which we won in 2024, and there is a solid foundation for Sooners in 2025.

Maya faintwhich was used primarily as a pinch runner, and Nelly McEnroe Marinaswho redshirted this past year after suffering an injury, will also be back in Norman next year.

Associate head coach and pitching coach Jennifer Rocha will add a left-handed pitcher Audrey Lowry to strengthen its pitching staff in the talented freshman class of 2024.

Tia MilloyOklahoma product Kadey McKayOC Batbuster Gabby Garcia and Rocklin, CA, signee Sydney Barker could all compete for time in the infield.

The Sooners also signed a pair of catchers Riley Zach And Corri Hicksand a star in the state Chaney Helton could fit in OU’s outfield.

The transfer portal officially closes on June 17, although players do not need to enter the portal until next Monday and can commit to new programs in the coming weeks.
