Forecast for Tuesday morning, June 11, 2024:

Temperatures are starting to warm again, with highs in the 90s in Northern Utah. There’s a chance we’ll hit 100F tomorrow for the very first time this year in Salt Lake City. Southern Utah is in the 104-106 degree range again this week and an Excessive Heat Watch has been issued for Lake Powell and Glen Canyon Recreation Area from Wednesday through Thursday. This weekend, temperatures will dip into the low 80s, making Father’s Day a beautiful day in Northern Utah.

Salt Lake City and surrounding areas:

  • Tuesday: Sunny and warmer. Highs in the low 90s.
  • Tuesday evening: Clear and comfortable. Lows around 70.
  • Wednesday: Sunny and very warm. Highs near 100.
  • Wednesday evening: Clear skies. Low near 70.
  • Thursday: Sunny and warm. Highs in the upper 90s.

St. George and surroundings:

  • Tuesday: Sunny and warm. Highs between 103-105.
  • Tuesday evening: Clear skies. Low point in the seventies.
  • Wednesday: Sunny, windy and warm. Highs between 105-107.
  • Wednesday night: Mostly clear skies. Low point in the seventies.
  • Thursday: Mostly sunny and windy. Highs between 104-106.
