Choose your own steak at Texas Roadhouse

All steaks served at Texas Roadhouse are USDA Choice beef. This level of quality indicates that steaks will have slightly less marbling than USDA Prime, but will still be quite tender and flavorful. And because the meat is carefully hand-cut by our own butcher, you are in good hands, whatever you choose. That said, there are several classic cuts and sizes to choose from when you peruse the display case.

For a lean but flavorful option, consider the USDA Choice Sirloin. Alternatively, for something more tender, it may be wise to opt for a New York Strip or even a more richly marbled Ft. Ribeye worth it. Instead, the Dallas Filet is a must for a steak that truly melts in your mouth. Of course, if you’re particularly hungry, there’s always the impressive 20-ounce bone-in ribeye, or better yet, the 23-ounce Porterhouse T-bone.

Once you’ve made your choice, the next step is to decide how you want the meat cooked and whether or not you want to customize it with a side of sautéed onions or mushrooms, brown gravy, or jack cheese. There is also the task of choosing sides. From buttered corn to green beans, mashed potatoes to macaroni and cheese, and everything in between, Texas Roadhouse’s ready-to-eat sides are sure to take your (hand-picked!) steak dinner to the next level, whatever you decide — oh, the choices!
