Two dead and seven injured after ‘several people opened fire’ during a shooting in a bar

Police in western Pennsylvania say a violent gunfire at a suburban Pittsburgh bar this weekend resulted in two deaths and seven injuries.

The shooting happened early Sunday morning at Ballers Hookah Lounge and Cigar Bar in Penn Hills, Allegheny County police said.

Emergency services found the bodies of an adult man and woman in the bar around 3am

The provincial police confirmed this on Sunday. Seven more victims were identified, some of whom were transported from the scene while others arrived independently at hospitals, according to a statement released by police on social media.

One victim is in critical condition, while the rest suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police added.

Initial information shows that “an altercation took place in the bar and several people opened fire,” provincial police said.

No arrests have been made so far. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call the provincial police tip line 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
