‘I’m ready to fuck someone’

Chicago White Sox outfielder Tommy Pham and Milwaukee Brewers catcher William Contreras had words Sunday after Pham was thrown out at home in the top of the eighth inning when he tried to tie the game and appeared to slide straight into the catcher.

Contreras barked at him after the game as he returned to his dugout. Pham had to be restrained by teammates and after the match still appeared to be heated.

“I’m nailed by a mile at home, I go to the dugout and I hear the tough guy with all the ‘hoo-rah’ stuff,” Pham told reporters. “I never start anything, but I’ll be willing to finish it. There’s a reason I do all kinds of fights in the offseason. Because I’m willing to fuck someone.”
