FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The last time Kansas State (35-24) appeared in the NCAA Tournament was during the 2013 season. That year also marked the first – and only time prior to Sunday’s results – that the Wildcats advanced to a super regional. After arriving at the Fayetteville Regional as the event’s No. 3 seed, Kansas State swept the field, recording three wins in as many days and claiming the regional championship with a 7-2 victory against Southeast Missouri State.
