Los Angeles, CA – Student LunchBox (“SLB”), a California-based anti-hunger organization, today announced its continued support of GoldenTree Asset Management (“GoldenTree”), a leading asset management firm, to address student food insecurity in Los Angeles.

SLB provides essential resources and services to more than 4,000 students each month at institutions from the San Fernando Valley to Long Beach. It offers a range of services, including food banks, meal programs and emergency food assistance, tailored to the diverse needs of the student population. SLB’s efforts are driven by a commitment to reducing food insecurity among students, recognizing that access to nutritious food is a critical component of academic success. Through partnerships with local businesses, community organizations and volunteers, SLB has created a robust support network that ensures students have the resources they need to thrive.

In 2023, as part of the annual GoldenTree Gives campaign, GoldenTree Asset Management partnered with Student LunchBox to expand their operations in Los Angeles and support California students in need. This year, their continued collaboration has expanded SLB’s reach to new universities, including California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) and NYU Los Angeles.
