WVU sets the tone for DL Nic Moore with ‘Amazing’ Visit

It’s a three-horse race for 2025 defensive lineman Nic Moore (6’3” 290 lbs) from Dandridge, TN, who is considering Tennessee, Vanderbilt and West Virginia.

WVU hosted Moore for his first official visit last weekend, and on Sunday evening he spoke with Mountaineers Now to discuss how it went.

“It went really well, I was impressed,” Moore said. “I think it’s a place where I can see myself because of the brotherhood and unity in the goal of winning football games. That’s something I want to be a part of no matter what. That is non-negotiable.

“The interaction was great. During the visit there were many jokes told and lots of laughter. There was nothing surprising to me during the visit, except the bond that everyone had with each other.”

Moore will take an official to Vanderbilt next weekend and wrap it up with a transit to Tennessee from June 21 to 23.
