Dinah L. Dague – Ohio Peak

Dinah L. Dague, 74, of Piqua, OH, formerly of Lakeview, OH, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Saturday morning, June 1, 2024, at Ohio Hospice of Miami County, Troy, OH.

Dinah was born on January 7, 1950 in Oka, WV, the daughter of the late John Thomas and Geraldine W. Lloyd Woodrum. She is preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Dinah married David Dague on January 15, 1971 at Grace Lutheran Church in Jackson Center, OH and he is survived by their daughter, Krista (Jeremy) Horsley of Vandalia, OH, son, Travis (Julie) Dague of Lewistown, OH, and two grandchildren, Aaron Brown and Morgan Dague.

Dinah graduated from Logan Hills High School in Zanesfield in 1968. She worked as a teacher for Indian Lake Schools for ten years and cared for many children throughout her life. Dinah enjoyed flower gardening, farming on her father-in-law’s farm, crocheting and reading. She was an accomplished seamstress and made clothes for people and dolls. Dinah’s greatest love was for her family and her dogs. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St, Lakeview.
