DAY 1

Theory

• Review of government exam printed material (supplied by school)
• Review of nail tools and products brought, in order to ensure kit is complete for government requirements.
• Review of station set-up for pedicure, manicure, acrylic and gel

Practical

• Demonstration of exam procedures for pedicure, manicure, full well tip, gel and acrylic

DAY 2

• Students will be set up in teams of two, in order to practice the procedures taught the previous day.

Entry Requirements

• Nail technician certificate from an approved school in province or country of origin
• High school certificate from province or country of origin
• Letter from the Department of Apprenticeship approving the application for practical exam

Supplies for class

Students are required to bring the following to class:

• Tools, products and LED/UV lamp
• Professional dress and smock (black pants, white shirt)
• Notebook, pen/pencil ,etc

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
